What exactly makes this collection "low sugar"? Well, each truffle is made completely with Valrhona Sugar-Free Couverture, sweetened with maltitol, providing a rich chocolate experience with a smooth mouth feel.
The only sugar found in these truffles is organic agave nectar, rated a 15 on the Glycemic Index, (compared to glucose which is rated 100) and leaves each truffle with under 2 grams of sugar per piece. (whereas a Cadbury cream egg would have around 24 grams)
To keep sugar minimal, the only flavors offered are infused cream flavors, so no fruit or alcohol is used.
Each truffle is finished off with a touch of gold luster or a glimmer of 24-karat edible gold leaf, making every box a truly luxurious experience.
